The legendary temple of Durga on Kasardevi hill is situated Northeast of Almora and is revered by the people of the region as one of the most ancient and sacred sites, which finds mention in ancient Hindu scriptures. 

The Kasardevi collection is inspired by the gentle hills and valleys of Almora District and the Panchachuli Women Weavers who come from the villages around Kasardevi. The Kasardevi collection uses fine New Zealand lambswool which is dyed with high quality iso-free dyes.
