Exquisite natural pashmina from the land of snow.
Munsiyari

Inspired by the high Himalayan region of Munsiyari near the Tibetan frontier, this collection celebrates the legacy of the Johari Bhotia community—semi-nomadic trans-Himalayan traders and traditional weavers of fine pashmina.
Perched below the majestic Panchachuli peaks, Munsiyari was once a vital link in the Indo-Tibetan trade route. Its women, skilled in hand spinning and loom weaving, were the original master weavers who helped seed the Panchachuli Women Weavers movement in Almora.
This collection features pure pashmina, sourced from Tibet & Mongolia and processed entirely by hand—spun, woven, and finished by women artisans in Almora and the villages around Munsiyari.
